Frequently asked questions

What is the Roamwild Contemporary Bird Bath?

A multi-level bird bath that brings songbirds in to drink and bathe, with shallow and deeper areas, six safe landing pads and a stable floor stand.

What's it made of?

Riot-grade, UV-stable polycarbonate, so it is durable and won't fade outdoors.

Does it come with a stand?

Yes. It includes a floor stand that raises it up to 1 metre high, plus a spirit level to set it true.

How big is the bath?

The bowl is 450 mm in diameter and 200 mm deep, with both shallow and deeper bathing areas.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes. It detaches without tools, so you can rinse it out and refill with clean water regularly.

Why the multiple levels and landing pads?

Different birds prefer different depths, and the six landing pads give them safe perches while drinking or bathing.

Also good for birds

I replaced a bird bath with this one which I'd had in the same position for several years, and was always frequented by many birds.
Seven days with this one and not a single bird used it. Tried one of the fountain sprinkler attachments, but a slight breeze blew the water out of the bath and emptied it within an hour.
Not one of my best purchases, and is now awaiting my next trip to the local dump it site.

Love this as much as the birds do.

I was initially very excited to receive this.
However once put together following instructions I went to place in garden near to where I have bird feeders. As I pushed into the ground the two side stabilise legs came away from the central pole.they were so weak and poorly soldered to the main support. I was able to level it and ensured it was straight. As yet not a single bird has taken a drink or even perched on it. Yet plenty of birds have been feeding around it from the feeders. They pass by to a water bath at the end of the garden.
Not sure this is worth the money to be honest.

I bought this bird bath about a year ago and chose to wait before writing a review to see how it faired. Generally OK with smaller birds, like sparrows and blue tits, but unfortunately it's not stable enough for larger birds like pigeons. When a pigeon takes off the whole bird bath shudders and it spills a large amount of water. May have to look for an alternative!
