Is feed included?

No, poultry feed is not included.

What's it made of?

High-grade metal components for long-lasting, weatherproof use.

Does it keep feed dry?

Yes, it is weatherproof and keeps feed dry and fresh in all conditions.

How do I clean and fill it?

It disassembles without tools for quick cleaning and refilling.

Fantastic product - had a rat problem - this solves having to remove the food every night plus allows for several days worth of food.

Does what it said it would. Lid doesn’t fit very well but I like the product.

Expensive, small and NOT RAT PROOF
We have previously used an 8L and a 10L galvanised chicken feeder but as we have developed a problem with rats we invested in these expensive 4L chicken feeders. We felt that topping up more frequently would be an acceptable compromise to avoid feeding the rats. Unfortunately, within a week of use we have already seen rats feeding from them by jumping up to the ledge above the opening and feeding from above.

Works for a while and then the spring mechanism fails which means the feeder can't be accessed by the birds. Has happened to all eight of these feeders we have bought
